Angelique is a native of Massachusetts and studied at the Sharon Music Academy under the direction of Tanya Schwartzman. She has earned numerous prestigious awards including being featured on PBS radio after receiving first prize in the Steinway Society piano competition, and graduated Magna cum Laude with her B.M in piano performance from Ithaca College, studying with Dr. Charis Dimaras. In 2024, she received her M.M in piano performance under Dr. Jennifer Hayghe at the University of Colorado Boulder. During her time at CU she was a professor of class piano, was the pianist for many choirs and instrumentalists, played alongside esteemed faculty members through the university’s honors chamber program, and was a private teacher for the university's Youth Piano Program. In 2024-2025, Scully completed a year as the Dance Pianist Intern at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy with highlights including being the rehearsal pianist for two full ballets, accompanying master classes in many styles led by world-renowned guest artists and faculty, performing her own Vivaldi transcription to original choreography, and premiering a neoclassical work performing solo piano.

In 2022, Angelique co-founded Duo Merté, a professional violin-piano duo with violinist Laura Grube, dedicated to highlighting works by women composers. The duo recently completed their first tour across Massachusetts and are currently developing new projects.

Angelique is also a former classically trained dancer with many awards under her belt and danced for companies such as Festival Ballet (now Ballet RI) and Ballet Theatre of Maryland before continuing her studies in music. In keeping with her passion for dance collaboration, in 2024 she performed with Boulder Ballet in their spring program, performing the music for Wheeldon’s Carousel. She remains passionate in continuing her connection to both art forms and plans to create and perform works that bring the two worlds together.

Angelique is thrilled to be joining the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community where she will work with both the music and dance departments. She looks forward to cultivating an open, creative, and collaborative environment in her music making and teaching.
